America's got me.  For one.. but did you watch?

I watched the first week and somewhere in the middle and the finale.. basically, I watched enough to know I wanted Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. to win it all.  Did you fall in love with this man, too?

They announced on the show that all top 3 acts would get Vegas performances.  But only Landau won the dough.

3,000 flags in Forest Park on Art Hill.  If you live in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, this is a must see.

Each flag had a number and a name.  Bussie's Aunt died in the Sept. 11 attacks, so I found her flag.



This is a badass pic, too.  I'm going to find a contest and win.

Here's the best part.  You can reserve a flag.  On Sept. 19, this baby is mine.. and then I will send it to Buss. 

Plus, I totally love when the professional sports guys and girls change up their gear or uniforms based on what's going on in the world.  The NFL wears pink in Oct. and a lot of them had FDNY on their shoes yesterday.  I saw these on TV this morning.  I love it.  I want them.

My Memories Suite Giveaway

It's a good day for my FIRST GIVEAWAY EVER!!!!! YEAH BABY!!!

I've used My Memories Suite on my PC and my Mac.  I don't consider myself a "scrapbooker," however, I enjoy editing pictures, and have made albums from my digital pics as gifts or whatever.  Which to me, is sort of a scrapbook.  Right?  Using the software on my PC and Mac was similar.  I didn't notice anything I could do on one, but not the other.  I super loved all the features and options and buttons.  I had some trouble editing one picture.. ya know like making it black and white or whatever.. but on my Mac, if I'm gonna change the pic, iPhoto has those options, too.  So for photo editing, I'll probably stick to my laptop's features.  The only thing that frustrated me momentarily was.. I couldn't figure out how to get to iPhoto when adding pictures to the album I was creating.  I had/have to copy pictures to my desktop first, then pull them from my desktop to add them to my album.  I got over my frustrations, it was just an extra step.  But perhaps there is a short cut around it!  And, I have a feeling someone who does this all the time can figure it out.

I'm totally pumped for college everything to officially begin!  We'll be heading back to Murray for Homecoming this year, and I'm so excited!!
