Screw everybody! Not really, but is anyone sad today? I'm not.. but I'm just asking if anyone else is.. because Lauren over at Busy Bee Lauren is.. poor little lamb.
Don't make me recite "Chin Up" from Charlotte's Web! You know when you're bummed, or just sad, or aren't cheesing as you walk down the hallway, and someone says, "Smile!" sometimes i just want to be like, "NO!" or "YOU SMILE!" But I can't, because I'm at work. Or in a public place, or somewhere where I have to be lady-like. There's nothing wrong with being sad or mad. Emotions are ok things. Sometimes people take them too far (cough::Charlie Sheen::cough), but with a support system and the right kind of 'help', you'll survive. Plus, life is too short, right?
Anyway, found this quote. Wanted to share..
Chin up, chin up
Everybody loves a happy face.
Wear it, Share it
It'll brighten up the darkest place..
Just kidding, here's the 'real' quote.. it's long, I usually hate long quotes.. actually I still do, except this one.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
- Mary Ann Williamson
Shine your lights, people!!!
Happy Monday! (Again!)
